Australian basketball sensation Ben Simmons has once again played a starring role in a Philadelphia 76ers victory on Wednesday.

The former No.1 draft pick fell just two rebounds short of a triple-double as he racked up 16 points on an 8-9 clip from the field, 13 assists and eight rebounds to help the 76ers beat Charlotte 128-114 at the Spectrum Center.

Simmons also added another highlight to his ever-growing reel with this monster one-handed jam.

The 21-year-old was one of seven Philadelphia players to crack double digits in the points column, with Robert Covington (22) and Dario Saric (19) leading the way.

Dwight Howard (30 points, six rebounds) was the standout for the Hornets but it wasn’t enough as his side slumped to a 28-37 win-loss record for the season.

Philadelphia (35-28) remain in sixth spot in the Eastern Conference and are well on course for their first playoffs appearance since 2011-12.
