Netflix and ESPN have teamed up to release a 10-part documentary series on Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.

The series will be called 'The Last Dance' and will explore the rise of Jordan and the Bulls, which resulted in a whopping six NBA titles.

It will draw from key figures from the Bulls teams of the 1990s, plus over 500 hours of previously unreleased and unseen footage from the 1997-98 season where Jordan won his last championship.

The series has "the full participation of Jordan", according to a joint media release.

Jason Hehir, who also released The Fab Five and Andre the Giant documentaries, will direct, while Mike Tollin, who is a frequent ESPN 30 for 30 producer, will produce the series.

The Last Dance will premiere in 2019.
