Kevin Durant Slaps Down His Critics In Rare Twitter Session
"You're soft, bro."
Nope.
In fact, the man painted as the "villain" by his critics spent several hours on Twitter jousting with those wanted to see the Golden State superstar fail.
The Finals MVP traded blows, albeit light-hearted ones, with fans still frustrated from his high profile exit from Oklahoma City not even a year ago.
"Your ring was given, not earned" said one user. "You're soft, bro."
"Validated" came the reply.
Why do you like the easy way out? Why not work hard like Kobe and other legends" was another question.
Not shying away, Durant shot back "but u (sic) wasn't with me shooting in the gym tho, so how do u know my work habits?"
KD made it clear he wasn't after anyone's advice, while others just wanted to know why he was tweeting at all.
“Bruh you won a ring like a week ago,” one user wrote. “You gotta have better stuff to be doing right now than arguing with people on here.”
“Nah I’m flying right now and the wi-fi kicked in,” Durant replied.
“I don’t have anything else to do.”
Durant is clearly comfortable with his critics if his new Nike commercial is anything to go by.
It ends with the words "debate this."
