The move comes on the back of another NBA finals loss for LeBron, with his Cleveland Cavaliers getting swept by the Golden State Warriors after battling through the playoffs.

LeBron was immense in the losing cause, averaging 34 points, 10 assists, 44.7 minutes and 8.5 rebounds per game.

It was his personal eighth consecutive finals series, for three championships.

LeBron is one of the most decorated players in the league, having won three finals MVPs, four overall MVPs, two Olympic gold medals and making the NBA All-Star team 14 times in a row.

It’s the third time LeBron has moved teams in his career, having switched from the Cavs to Miami Heat and back before the move to LA.
