Another day, another huge milestone for NBA superstar LeBron James.

The three-time champion piled on 51 points on his former team Miami as the Los Angeles Lakers posted a comfortable 113-97 win over the Heat.

In doing so, James became just the fifth player in NBA history to score 50 points at three different franchises, having done so at Cleveland and Miami previously.

The other four players to achieve the feat are Wilt Chamberlain, Jamal Crawford, Bernard King and Moses Malone.

James also becomes just the third player ever to score at least 45 points in his 16th season or later. The other two players to do so were Kobe Bryant and Kareem Abdul-Jabaar who both also did it while playing for the Lakers.

LA have now well and truly recovered from their 0-3 start to the season to be 9-7 and seventh in the Western Conference.
