Melbourne United has sold out its opening home NBL fixture this afternoon.
10,300 fans packed into Hisense Arena to see Melbourne take on the New Zealand Breakers.
This is the biggest crowd to an opening game in Melbourne since 1998.
Unfortunately Melbourne couldn't get the job done as the Breakers ran over the top to win by 22 points.
United's next home game is on November 2nd at Hisense against Cairnes.
Just another reason why Melbourne is the sporting capital of the world!
