Patty Mills has played a starring role in the San Antonio Spurs’ 112-95 victory over the Phoenix Suns in the NBA on Monday.
The star Australian point guard racked up 17 points on a 7-11 clip from the field, including 3-5 from three-point land, from just 26 minutes of court time.
He also registered four rebounds and four assists to be one of the Spurs’ best.
Teammate LaMarcus Aldridge (21 points) was the only player on the court who scored more than Mills.
San Antonio trailed by four points at half-time, but their 34-13 third term busted the game open and Phoenix would not recover.
The Spurs have now improved to a 6-4 win-loss record while the Suns have slumped to 4-6.
