Australia has axed two bowlers ahead of its second ODI in India. 

Skipper Steve Smith confirmed at the toss that James Faulkner and Adam Zampa were making way from the side.

The two were Australia's most expensive bowlers in the first ODI, taking 1/67 and 1/66 respectively, with Faulkner also chipping in with 32 not out with the bat.

Kane Richardson and Ashton Agar will come in to replace them.

India won the toss and will bat first with an unchanged side, with the game starting at 6pm AEST.
