Australia has wrapped up the Ashes 4-0 with a comprehensive innings and 123 run win at the SCG.

The Aussies dominated the series from the start, regaining the urn after going 3-0 up in the first three Tests.

Australia won the Gabba Test by 10 wickets, the Adelaide Test by 120 runs, the WACA Test by an innings and 41 runs and drew the MCG Test on a lifeless pitch.

Aussie skipper Steve Smith won the Compton-Miller Medal as man of the series for his 687 runs at an average of 137.4.

All four of Australia’s main bowlers took more than 20 wickets, with Pat Cummins (23) getting the most poles ahead of Mitch Starc (22), Josh Hazlewood and Nathan Lyon (both 21).
