Teams across the country are using the Dukes ball in the Sheffield Shield to try and reproduce the swing found in the UK ahead of the 2019 Ashes.
It’s been working a treat as well, with a few guys managing to turn it around corners.
South Australia quick Dan Worrall continued his recent form with an absolute corker to knock over Queensland quick Brendan Doggett earlier this morning:
Later, Queensland’s Michael Neser bowled a genuinely unplayable one to SA’s keeper Alex Carey that swung out past leg stump then seamed into the top of off:
Neser wrecked the SA innings, jagging four of the first six wickets as the Redbacks crashed to 7/89 on their way to 162 all out.
Good signs for the 2019 Ashes.
