Triple M’s own Brad Haddin has picked who he thinks should be the Australian wicketkeeper for the tour of India to take place in Match.

The Aussies have used both Peter Nevill and Matthew Wade during this summer, with the Victorian skipper taking Nevill’s spot after the disastrous Hobart test.

Speaking to Neroli Meadows on Triple M during the luncheon interval, Haddin spoke about who he thinks will be making the trip for the four-test series in India.

“I think they’ve shown their hand the Australian selectors, they’ve invested in Matthew Wade,” Haddin said.

“And I’d be shocked if they didn’t give him the Indian series.

“One of the things was he does bat well against spin bowling.”

Haddin said that while Wade’s superior skills with the bat will give him the edge, his keeping has improved.

“I think since he’s come in his keeping’s definitely improved,” Haddin said.

“He looks like a much more mature cricketer now.”
