Australia has left out Cameron White and Jhye Richardson from the team to take on England in the one day international at the MCG today.

White had been drafted into the side to take the spot left open by the injury to big hitting Queenslander Chris Lynn.

Travis Head has been preferred to White for today’s match.

Meanwhile England have named a very different side from their Test lineup, with Jonny Bairstow to play as a batsman and Jos Buttler to keep wicket.

Moeen Ali has been selected despite poor Test form.

AUSTRALIA XI:

David Warner, Aaron Finch, Steve Smith (c), Travis Head, Mitch Marsh, Marcus Stoinis, Tim Paine (wk), Pat Cummins, Mitch Starc, Andrew Tye, Adam Zampa

ENGLAND XI:

Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Alex Hales, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan (c), Jos Buttler (wk), Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, Adil Rashid, Liam Plunkett, Mark Wood

England won the toss and has chosen to bowl at the MCG.
