Big hitting Queensland batsman Chris Lynn is set to be ruled out of the one-day series against England.
Lynn hasn’t been able to get past a calf injury he suffered while playing for Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash.
Results of scans have yet to be confirmed, but the injury is expected to keep him from representing the Aussies and may rule him out of the rest of the Big Bash.
Explosive all rounder Glenn Maxwell — who was controversially left out of the squad — is hotly tipped to replace Lynn.
Lynn was always a risk for the series as he is hampered by a long-term shoulder injury.
He had surgery a few months ago and still can’t train at full capacity.
The series starts on Sunday at the MCG.
