Aussie T20 freak Chris Lynn brought the Lynnsanity in the IPL overnight, rinsing 93 from 41 balls to help Kolkata Knight Riders to a ridiculous win over Gujarat Lions.

KKR strolled to the 184 run target in just 14 overs to win by 10 wickets, with Lynn’s opening partner Gautam Gamhir smashing 76 off 48 balls.

Lynn brought up his 50 in just 19 balls — the fourth fastest in IPL history — ending with six fours and eight sixes on his way to the massive knock.

The partnership is now the highest ever opening stand in IPL history, and the chase is the highest in any T20 match without the loss of a wicket.

It continues Lynn’s insane T20 run in recent times — his last six innings in the shortest format have returned 402 runs at an average of 134.

KKR take on Glenn Maxwell’s King’s XI Punjab at Eden Gardens tomorrow.
