How's this for a knock!

Aussie batsman Dan Christian has smacked a 37-ball century overnight for Nottinghamshire in England's T20 competition.

Coming in at six in the 10th over, Christian hit one of the most remarkable T20 tons you'll see.

The Notts captain hit seven fours and launched nine sixes to take Nottinghamshire from 4/81 to a remarkable 6/219 off their 20 overs.

He ended 113 not out off just 40 balls, the seventh fastest T20 century of all time and second-fastest by an Aussie.

It was enough to secure a 58-run win for his side.

"Try and keep that run rate up, that's all I was really thinking,” Christian told Nottinghamshire's website.

"I was lucky enough to get a few out of the middle early and just kept going with it.

"It's always nice to get the personal accolades. I've been feeling like I've been hitting the ball really well … it was nice to get the rewards today in a win."
