David Warner has posted a message on Instagram, saying all the players want is to get out onto the field and play.

The cricketers are stuck in a pay dispute with Cricket Australia, which has left them unemployed for nearly a month.

He shared a photo of him wearing the baggy green on Thursday night, saying all he wants is the opportunity to keep wearing it.

"This Baggy means the world to me," he wrote.

"Myself and all the other cricketers female and male want to get out there and play.

"We offered $30m of our money to grassroots as a peace plan. It was ignored. We asked for mediation twice before and it was rejected. Now CA says there is a crisis."

The image was also shared by Mitchell Johnson.

Warner suggested the blame shouldn't be on the players that no deal is done.

"The players are unemployed and some are hurting financially but continue to train. Administrators all still being paid. How is it our fault no deal is done. #fairshare," he wrote.
