Australia launched itself into the semi finals of the Women's World Cup overnight.

It was done on the back of runs, yet again, from Ellyse Perry.

The all-rounder has been in tremendous form with the bat, scoring her fifth consecutive 50 and taking two wickets in Australia's win over South Africa.

It's the latest good knock in a big run of form for the 26-year-old.

Ever since her move into the top six in August 2013, Perry has absolutely starred with the bat.

In 32 innings, Perry has scored an incredible 22 half-centuries.

That's a 68.75% conversion rate - no one else has managed over 50% over the same period.

She's notched up 1,755 runs at a whopping average of 87.75 in that time.

Only two batters have tallied more runs: Aussie skipper Meg Lanning (2,010) and New Zealand's Suzie Bates (1,925), both of whom have played more matches and averaged less.

Add a lazy 43 wickets in that time and it's pretty reasonable form!
