Ellyse Perry has scored her first ever international hundred in the Women's Ashes against England in Sydney.

Against the pink ball in tough conditions, her maiden ton came off 226 balls and including 17 fours to ensure Australia's surge towards a first innings lead.

It's her first century in all formats for Australia, having notched up a whopping 28 half-centuries without a ton across Tests, one-day internationals and Twenty 20s.

The runs have been tough to come by, with no other Aussie yet to pass 50.

It follows up three wickets with the ball in the first innings for Perry.
