Former Test cricketer Dean Jones has tweeted confirming his safety after a suicide bomber targeted outside the ground where he was commentating.
Jones was commentating in Kabul for the Shpageeza Cricket League, Afghanistan's T20 tournament, when the bomb went off outside the gates.
At least three people died from the attack, for which Islamic State has claimed responsibility.
It happened midway through the game, with the players electing to continue after safety procedures were carried out.
Jones tweeted overnight that he was okay.
"We are all fine thank you... great cricket today," he tweeted.
"More news tomorrow."
South African T20 batsman Cameron Delport, who hit a century during the match, also tweeted after the game.
"Sad to hear about the bomb blast during our game outside the stadium. Thank god we are all safe, condolences to the people that passed away," he wrote.
