How Our Aussies Faired In IPL|10 Opener

Five Aussie international stars featured in the opening fixture of IPL|10.

The David Warner lead Sunrisers Hyderabad batted first posting 4/207 off their 20 overs.

Warner's cameo innings of 14 (8) got the Sunrisers off to a flier but was short lived when he skied one to backward Point.

New South Welshman Moises Henriques took over at first-drop and was the backbone of the innings scoring a very valuable contribution of 52(37).

Ben Cutting then closed the innings for the home side with two big sixes to finish 16 not out. 

The Shane Watson lead Royal Challengers Bangalore also featured South Australian young-gun Travis Head.

Watson and Head both got starts scoring 22(17) and 30(22) unable to convert them into big scores in what was an unsuccessful run chase, falling 35 runs short of the target.
