Being able to belt a big ball clearly runs in the Harvey family.

Ian Harvey played 73 ODIs for Australia and made the first ever T20 ton in 2003, and now his nephew Mackenzie has taken over the big-hitting mantle in the family.

The 17-year-old Victorian was picked for the Cricket Australia XI to take on England in a tour match at Drummoyne Oval in Sydney today, and smeared the Poms all over the park.

Harvey came in at six and took to the English bowling attack with gusto, spanking a quick fire 58 off 49 to help fire the CAXI to 9/258.

Harvey hit four sixes and four four in his cameo knock, including this casual clip over the slips off Test quick Mark Wood on just his fourth ball:

The quick fire 50 continues a good run of form for Harvey; he belted 136 off 130 for the Australian under 19s against Pakistan under 19s just before the turn of the year.
