Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out of tomorrow’s second one day international against England at the Gabba.

Hazlewood is suffering from illness and hasn’t been able to recover.

He will travel home to New South Wales.

Hazlewood was rested from Australia’s five wicket loss to the Poms on Sunday at the MCG, with Mitch Starc, Andrew Tye, Pat Cummins and Adam Zampa unable to bowl the Aussies to a win.

Hazlewood’s illness is the latest in a line of outbreaks across both sides of the Ashes divide, with Tim Paine, Steve Smith and Cummins all suffering for the Aussies, and Joe Root also coming down with gastro.

The second ODI starts at 2:20pm AEDT at the Gabba tomorrow.
