Since the 90s, the Barmy Army has been England’s best performer in away Ashes series.

They turn up every tour and sings their hearts out, with scant regard for Responsible Service of Alcohol laws and good sun sense.

Mastercard has seen the fun the Barmy Army brings with it and decided to try and recreate it among Aussie fans.

They drafted in musician Denis Carnahan, former Aussie middle order batsman Mike Hussey and quick bowler Mitch Starc to do some songs for a so-called ‘Barbie Army’.

They’ve released a track called the Barbie Army Anthem and it’s fair to say it’s probably not going to catch on:
