Queensland opener Matt Renshaw has sent another message to national selectors with a second consecutive century in their Sheffield Shield match against South Australia at Adelaide Oval today.
Renshaw got to three figures in uncharacteristically brisk pace, bringing up the milestone with a punch through covers on his 130th ball.
Check out some highlights here:
He didn’t last much longer, eventually falling for 112 off 148 balls with nine boundaries.
Renshaw has now made 508 runs in this Shield season at an average of 39.07.
He was dumped from the national Test side ahead of the Aussies victorious Ashes campaign, and couldn’t force his way back for the tour of South Africa that starts on Thursday.
