Australian vice-captain Mitch Marsh has been left out of the first Test XI to play India at Adelaide Oval.

Skipper Tim Paine announced the squad today, with Peter Handscomb coming in for the all-rounder.

Marnus Labuschagne has also been left out, with Victoria opener Marcus Harris coming in for him.

The new side has three Vics in the top six, with with Harris’s opening partner Aaron Finch and Handscomb also from Victoria.

The first Test starts tomorrow at 10:30am South Australian time.
