In case one wasn't enough, Mitchell Starc has run through Western Australia to take another hat-trick in the second innings.

Starc's second hat-trick for the match is only the eighth time in history a bowler's taken two hat-tricks in a match, the first in nearly 40 years, and the first time it's ever happened in the Sheffield Shield.

Once again Starc cleaned up the tail, removing Jason Behrendorff caught behind before bowling number 10 David Moody.

This time, though, that was the end of the over, with Western Australia doing enough off the following Pat Cummins over to ensure set batsman Jono Wells was on strike for the hat-trick ball.

But it didn't make a difference.

From round the wicket Starc bowled a corker of a delivery, spearing in on off and middle stump, squaring Wells up and catching an edge straight to Steve Smith at slip.

You couldn't script it!

For the possibility of more Mitchell Starc hat-tricks, Triple M is Rocking The Ashes ball by ball from day one of the first Test in Brisbane, Thursday 23 November.
