Ricky Ponting Just Named His Squad For The India Test Series

Aussie test legend Ricky Ponting just named the 16 man squad he would take to India for next mont’s test series.

Commentating on the Big Bash League game between Sydney Thunder and the Sydney Sixers, Punter named the squad he would take with some surprises.

He overlooked Adam Zampa — currently in the ODI squad — in favour of Ashton Agar who famously made a splash with the bat rather than the ball in 2013.

He also named controversial all-rounder Glenn Maxwell.

Cricket Australia’s interim chief selector Trevor Hohns will announce the squad for the India tour at 10am tomorrow.
