Shane Watson has belted a remarkable ton in Sydney Premier Cricket on the weekend.
Playing for Sutherland in the semi-final of the Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup, he smashed 114* from just 53 balls to help easily chase down Mosman’s 8/150.
Coming in as opener, Watson hit 16 sixes and just one four as Sutherland cruised home with more than three overs to spare.
Watson put on 149 for the first wicket with Jarryd Biviano, who contributed 36.
Mosman’s team included NSW batsman Daniel Hughes and former South African Test player Johan Botha.
Watson will captain Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League.
