Victorian fast bowler Ryan Sidebottom has made a dream first-class cricket debut at Lord's in London.
Sidebottom ripped through Middlesex's batting line-up with a brilliant spell of 4-29.
Cricket.com.au report that the 27-year-old signed a deal with Warwickshire last week for the remainder of the county season.
Sidebottom's Warwickshire was all-out for 126 - before Sidebottom's spell saw Middlesex collapse to 161 in 40.2 overs.
Ryan, who is the older brother of Collingwood’s Steele, had been playing District Premier League side Berkswell.
In a statement last week Ashley Giles, Sport Director at Warwickshire CCC, said: “We heard good things about Ryan soon after he arrived at Berkswell, so were naturally keen to take a closer look at his bowling and see how he fits into our dressing room.
“He’s a very impressive character and the volume of wickets that he has taken, in the Second XI and Birmingham League, highlights his ability. He is a valuable addition to our fast bowling ranks as we enter a very important final, two months of the season.
