Steve Smith and David Warner have said they're both looking forward to "doing what we love" after the cricket pay deal was finally resolved.

The pay deal was finalised on Thursday, with both sides finally coming to terms on a deal that sees Australia's cricketers able to be paid once again.

Warner said he was delighted to see the back of it.

"Great outcome to retain the revenue share for all players now and in the future while supporting the games grassroots," he tweeted.

"Looking forward to getting back out on the park and doing what we love, playing cricket. Thanks everyone for your support."

Smith echoed those thoughts on Thursday night.

"Great to get a deal done! It's been a long and challenging process and it's great that we can now get on with playing the game that we all love," he said.

"I look forward to Bangladesh, India and an exciting summer of Ashes cricket."
