This Ashes series has been one of utter domination from Australia.

The Aussies have five of the top seven run scorers and the four top wicket takers.

But perhaps the most telling statistic is that Mitch and Shaun Marsh between them have scored more centuries than England.

Both of the brothers were considered shock selections when they came in, but they’ve scored two tons each.

By contrast, England have had three centuries in the series — Johnny Bairstow and Dawid Malan in Perth, and Alastair Cook’s mammoth 244* at the MCG.

Shaun Marsh ended up the second highest scorer for the series (pending Joe Root’s wicket — he needs another 84 runs to go past Shaun), while Mitch made 320 runs from four innings across three Tests at an average of 106.66.
