Both Matthew Wade and Travis Head have been reprimanded for send-offs in recent BBL clashes.

Head copped a level two breach of the Cricket Australia code of conduct for a send-off when Heat wicketkeeper Jimmy Peirson was dismissed during the New Year's Eve clash.

The umpires deemed Head had diverted towards Peirson after the wicket fell in an incident that "could be deemed harmful to the interested of cricket or bring the game into disrepute".

Wade's incident received the most attention for his run in with Thunder star Jos Buttler, also receiving a level two breach.

The umpires had found Wade "significantly deviated from his line towards Buttler after running him out".

They determined that Wade's behaviour "could be deemed contrary to the spirit of the game".

Both players have received a reprimand, with both accepting the sanction.
