12 years on and still sledging!

The King of Spin, Shane Warne has kick-started the Ashes sledging by destroying former foe Paul Collingwood on Instagram.

The former-England allrounder is part of the backroom coaching staff as the English team look to keep hold of the Ashes in enemy territory.

And veteran pace bowler Stuart Broad took to Instagram last night to express his happiness in 'Colly' joining the coaching ranks.

But, never one to shy away from a sledge of the old foe, or shy away from Instagram for that matter, Warnie took the opportunity to remind Collingwood of his lacklustre performance against the Aussies in 2005 - in an albeit victorious series for England.

"What is Colly doing as coach? Carrying the bags? Hahahaha #MBE for 0 & 7," Warnie commented.

His reference is into Collingwood receiving a "Most Excellent Order of the British Empire", aka an MBE, along with the rest of the England side after winning the Ashes for the first time in 18 years - even though Collingwood only played in the fifth and final test, scoring a dismal seven and 10.

Not exactly "0 & 7", and England still won the Ashes, but you have to love Warnie's commitment to the sledge!
