Jockey Dylan Cabouche has been suspended for two weeks for punching a horse before entering the barriers prior to a race at Port Lincoln on Wednesday. 

Cabouche was charged with misconduct after punching the Allan Jarvis-trained She’s Reneldasgirl in the ribs after she became unsettled heading into the barriers.

The suspension will being on November 17 and run through to December 1.
