Matt Hill's Phantom Race Call For The Caulfield Cup Is A Must-Listen

Top race caller Matt Hill has given his tip for the Caulfield Cup - in the form of a phantom race call.

Fellow caller Darren Flindell kicked things off last week when he nailed a phantom call of the Everest last weekend.

Hill might have gone one better.

He joined Triple M's Rocking Horses on Saturday morning and called how things would play out at the Caulfield Cup.

"Sir Isaac Newton is the leader, but it's starting to look for the oxygen tank," he called. 

"Single Gaze moves up on the outside, the horse from Canberra, they come up towards the corner and the crowd roars. Single Gaze in front with Boom Time, Hardham trying to get up on the inside and here's Bonneval!"

Then comes a cracking finish that gets Billy Brownless all excited...
