TAB’s Nick Quinn has given an odds update ahead of Stakes Day tomorrow.
He appeared on Kennedy Molloy and dished out the best calls for the race day at Flemington tomorrow.
“Race 6 is an open race, the 7News Matriach Stakes, Falika is the $4.80 favourite in from $5,” he said.
“The second elect Prompt Response [is] at $6.50, and a little bit of money around for Payroll, in from $12 to $9.50..
“Race 7 is the Darley Classic and the second leg of the quaddie, and the Everest winner Redzel hits the market at $4.40, Vega Magic $5 and Chautauqua, trained by Wayne Hawke… at $6.
“Race number 8, the third leg of the quaddie, the Emirate Stakes, Folkswood heads the market at $5, Gingernuts, the Kiwi visitor is from $6 into $5.50.”
He gave odds for the Queen Elizabeth Stakes as well.
“Best backed run on the program is Qewy, from the Charlie Appleby stable, he’s won 3 of his 4 starts down under and has been popular here, now a $3.60 favourite — was $4.20 on Wednesday — favourite from Gallic Chieftain $4.20 and Kiwia at $4.60.”
