After a torrid afternoon, Daniel Ricciardo is now actually out of the Melbourne Formula One Grand Prix at Albert Park.

He had a nightmare start, with mechanical issues in the Red Bull car putting him in the garage just prior to the start of the race.

He started two laps behind everyone else, but it couldn’t last.

Ricciardo’s car stopped at turn three on the 29th lap, and the mechanics told him it was time to pack it in.
