Can He Win Again?

This weekend Formula 1 farewells Malaysia.

It'll be the last time a Grand Prix will be raced at Sepang after 19 seasons.

Daniel Ricciardo is lucky enough to be one of 10 drivers who've won the race.

"My victory last year was definitely unexpected," he said.

"I really didn't think our car was well suited to the track, but Lewis' problem opened the door and then I held off Max in the closing stages to take the win."

"It just goes to show you never know what can happen."

Lots of long straights, medium and high-speed corners and plenty of humidity all add up to what could be another fascinating race come Sunday.

Ricciardo says Malaysia can be a bit of a bitch when it comes to tuning the car right.

"Set-up is always a compromise in Malaysia as you need a good car in the middle sector, but you also can't afford to lose too much time on those long straights."

It's also another back-to-back race with Japan to think about the following weekend.

But Daniel's first stop won't be the race track.

"I'll have a quick stop in Tokyo on the way to Suzuka."

"Tokyo is so unique and I love all the local food, I actually have a table booked at a sushi restaurant that I have wanted to visit since last year."

Fans will no doubt be hoping the racing is as raw as Daniel's sushi.

Speaking of raw, check out Daniel's dance moves in the clip below.

Qualifying for the Malaysian Grand Prix starts at 7pm on Saturday night.

Race time is 5pm Sunday. (All times AEST).
