Formula 1 fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

This coming season might not be another cake walk for Mercedes.

That's if day 2 of pre-season testing at Barcelona is anything to go by.

Kimi Raikkonen wound up top of the timesheets despite running on slower 'soft' tyres!

Lewis Hamilton finished second fastest on the typically faster 'super softs.'

The great unknown however are the fuel loads, with suggestions the Ferrari may have been running light.

Third quickest was Max Verstappen in the Red Bull, winding up a second off the pace of Raikkonen and Hamilton.

Daniel Ricciardo had the day off and appeared in a team Twitter video, revealing he didn't really miss his team-mate in the off-season.
