After a dramatic exit from the Hungarian Grand Prix, Daniel Ricciardo has cleared the air with Max Verstappen.

The teenager hit the Australian's car on the first lap putting him out of the race on Lap 1.

Ricciardo blasted the young Dutchman as a "f***ing sore loser" and immature for the incident.

But the Aussie's revealed in some tweets on Twitter that the pair have sorted things out away from the spotlight

Their boss, Red Bull's Christian Horner pinned the blame for the crash squarely on Verstappen.

"He made a mistake today and it was costly to him, for the team and for Daniel" he told Sky Sports.

"Dan had the corner, he should have conceded."

Ricciardo may not have finished the race but keeps fourth place in the drivers championship, one point clear of Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen.

The dust will have well and truly settled by the time Formula 1 returns from its mid-season break for the Belgian Grand Prix on August 27.
