Sebastian Vettel is looking every bit a world champion in the making - again.

The German led home a one-two for Ferrari in the 75th running of the Monaco Grand Prix to drag his lead out to 25 points over Lewis Hamilton.

It's his third race win of the year and the 45th of his career.

Pole-sitter Kimi Raikkonen led up until the pit stops where the four-time champion leap-frogged his Finnish team-mate to finish 3.1 seconds clear.

It was the German's 2nd win at Monte Carlo and Ferrari's first in 16 years after Michael Schumacher won in 2001.

A third place allowed Daniel Ricciardo to share the podium, with the Aussie lucky to escape hitting the barrier in the final laps.

Lewis Hamilton couldn't find the pace that went missing for most of the weekend with the Mercedes star finishing 7th.

Jenson Button's "last" last race for McLaren ended in retirement when he collided with German Pascal Wehrlein.

Ferrari's win leaves no doubts about who's top dog at the Scuderia with the race strategy setting up Vettel for the win - and a serious crack at a fifth drivers world championship.
