A Bloke Named Matthew Lodge Is Absolutely Copping It On Twitter

The NRL, Todd Greenberg and Matthew Lodge have all been copping it deluxe, as the 22-year-old prepares to end his three-year exile from the NRL. 

However, there's also another Matthew Lodge who is on the unfortunate end of having the same name as the Broncos prop. 

Some Twitter users have vented their frustrations to the account @MatthewSLodge believing they are talking to the 'real' Lodge.

Although, once users became aware that it wasn't the 'real' Matthew Lodge, they couldn't offer their apologies quick enough. 

The abuse was so much, that the unfortunate namesake tweeted a public service announcement.
