Former Queensland Maroons captain Gorden Tallis has told, Triple M all the Daly Cherry-Evans speculation surrounding his apparent exile from the Origin arena has come from NSW.

Gordie told Brisbane's Dead Set Legends, the rumours suggesting DCE never played Origin due to the Manly skipper rubbing senior memebrs of the side the wrong way is rubbish and just NSW spinning stories.

Sam Thaiday announced his retirement in the most Sam Thaiday way possible, by dressing up as an elderly man as a look to the future of his potential appearance in 40-years time.

His Broncos teammate, Andrew McCullough joined Triple M Brisbane's Dead Set Legends and paid tribute to the "remarkable" 2006 Premiership winner.
