After 24-years the Footy Show, in it's current format, has reportedly been axed after poor ratings plagued the show over the past five years.

Daryl Brohman, who's contracted ended this year revealed channel nine won't be renewing his contract.

While veteran host Paul 'Fatty' Vautin, will be confined to the commentary box for the remainder of his contract set to expire at the end of 2018.

Former Shark and Tiger, Beau Ryan, is still unsure of his duties next year despite having two-years remaining on his contract.

Erin Molan is set to take on hosting duties in the revamped 'footy show.'
