The Broncos will be forced to practice forĀ 2018 without Ben Hunt, with the halfback to be sidelined for two to three weeks.

Hunt picked up a hamstring problem during the game and went off shortly after.

Speaking with the Triple M call team post-match, Hunt said that he'd never had a hamstring injury before, and was unsure how bad it was. Listen to the full interview below.

"I'm not too sure. I think it's just a mild grade one hamstring sort of thing, but I'll get scans tomorrow," Hunt said.

"I've never done a hammy before, so it kind of just feels like it's cramped and it wouldn't go away."

It's been reported that Wayne Bennett has confirmed the extent of the injury, saying that Hunt will be back by approximately round nine.

Sam Scarlett and Todd Murphy are apparently a chance of filling in.
