Michael Morgan, Cameron Munster, Corey Norman and Moses Mbye have all be labelled as options for Johnathan Thurston's replacement by QLD coach Kevvie Walters.
However, there's one noticeable absence from this list: Daly Cherry-Evans.

"Has DCE had his cards marked after backflipping on the Titans?
"He's been in career-best form, he seems a logical successor for that bench position. Why did he not get a mention?"
"Is it that, or is it the fact that he hasn't had a lot of success at Origin?" Triple M's Ryan Girdler asked.
"For Kevvie to mention Moses Mbye - a guy that's never played at that level and is playing in a side at the moment that is struggling - ahead of Daly Cherry-Evans, it just seems strange.
"I don't think that," Triple M's Wendell Sailor said.
"I think there's just so many good halves in and around, and it depends what you do with Morgan. If you're going to bring Morgan into five-eighth, do you bring DCE into 14?
"I'm not sure what Kevvie is thinking."
