We can expect to see former Origin great Billy Slater in Queensland colours running around against NSW in Origin II.

Maroons coach Kevin Walters has admitted on Triple M that Billy’s performance for the Storm last week was observed and the fullback will be watched again tomorrow night.

"I’m prepared to change enough so that QLD can give a better performance than what we gave in Game 1, the effort there was fantastic but I’m not stupid, I take the position I’m in extremely seriously and we need to make some changes, there’s no doubt about that, even guys that aren’t injured or aren’t playing this weekend," said Walters, on Triple M Brisbane’s Marto, Ed & Robin.

“Obviously Billy’s got to get through the game tomorrow night but he's in good form and it was hard leaving him out of Game One" Listen to the full audio below.
