St. George will formally file a complaint against a Brisbane Broncos under-20s player after an alleged racial slur directed at forward TJ Uele.
The incident occurred last night during the Dragons and Broncos clash at Suncorp Stadium.
It is reported in the Daily Telegraph that Uele was called a “black c---’’ by a Broncos player.
Uele was upset by the incident and reacted angrily to the slur during the game and was subsequently sin-binned for the his actions.
A St. George spokesperson had this to say.
“Yes, we will be follow the correct process path with the NRL,’’ the spokesperson said.
