Brilliant Story Behind This Picture Of Johnathan Thurston

Footage did the rounds on the weekend of Johnathan Thurston doing his bit for the team despite carrying injury.

He may be sidelined for this finals period due to a shoulder problem, but JT was spotted cleaning up the sheds after the game last weekend. 

Speaking on Triple M's Marto, Ed and Robin, teammate Michael Morgan explained that this was a part of the club's culture. Listen to the full report below.

"It's sort of an unwritten thing - we always try to make sure the sheds are pretty tidy before we leave," Morgan said.

"Whether it's our mess, like strapping tape and ice bags and that sort of thing. Obviously if guys like JT are doing it, it certainly sets the standard."
