Broncos Ben Hunt Just Got Compared To A 3-Bedder In Caringbah
Best analogy ever.
Channel Seven’s Josh Massoud has reported St George Illawarra has formally offered Broncos halfback Ben Hunt a deal worth one million dollars a year.
It’s no secret the Dragons are desperate for success and they view a top quality halfback as a way of getting back to the top.
Some fans agree that 26-year-old Hunt would be a bloody great signing - the rep star will help out 5/8 and skipper Gareth Widdop who has been carrying the team on his shoulders - however other fans have baulked at the humongous million-dollar-a-year price tag.
One of those was Channel Nine and former super coach Phil Gould.
“I don't think a 3 bedroom, brick veneer home in Caringbah is worth a million dollars. But if you really want one, that's the price you pay,” tweeted Gould.
Indeed, it could be more a case of the Dragons having to pay overs like the Titans, Raiders and Souths did for a few years.
